Our History

BVCDL is a relatively new Distributed Learning (DL) School opening its "doors" in September 2007. Distributed Learning is a program allowing students to take all or part of their program at home. BVCDL is a part of the Society of Christian Schools of Smithers and Telkwa, a school society with a long history in the beautiful Bulkley Valley.  BVCDL expanded to offer a complete program in 2009 and enrolls students in every grade level.  BVCDL is now truly a global school, enrolling students from around the province and even in other countries.
